'L'Île de jamais trop tard' ('The island of never too late') is a large-scale co-commission from the newly created 'Consortium Créatif' led by the Orchestre National de Bretagne, with the Orchestre National Avignon-Provence, Orchestre National de Cannes, the Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse, Orchestre de Picardie, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The orchestral work for family audiences - written with author Stéphane Michaka and pianist Vanessa Wagner - will be premiered in the Seine Musicale, Paris in March 2023, and then performed by each of the co-commissioning partners in subsequent concert seasons.

Selected for Ty Cerdd's CoDI: Tuag Opera programme, Sarah is developing 'Saith ar Draws', a new Welsh-language micro-opera with librettist Beca Davies.

BBC NOW: Composer Affiliate
2020-24
Sarah was appointed BBC National Orchestra of Wales' Composer Affiliate in September 2020, a post that ran until July 2024.
During her time at BBC NOW, she wrote several new works for the orchestra, and worked with the Creative and Learning department on the Composition:Wales and Dyfed Young Composer programmes.

The first commercial album to showcase disabled composers working in the UK. The composers featured on the recording include Sonia Allori, Sarah Lianne Lewis, Jo-anne Cox, Elinor Rowlands, Leon Clowes and Sorcha Pringle. Performed by Welsh pianist Siwan Rhys, the album also features performances by Sonia Allori (clarinet and electronic wind instrument), Jo-Anne Cox (cello), and Elinor Rowlands (narrator).

Private teaching: Composition, Theory, Piano & Singing
Sarah teaches Composition, Music Theory, Piano and Singing, and follows the ABRSM syllabus for Theory, Piano and Singing. She is experienced at teaching and encouraging young children, those in secondary school, and mentoring young adults in their studies. Her teaching practice follows the student's lead and interests, whilst encouraging them to explore music they may not have previously discovered, so that they develop existing skills and learn new techniques. Medal y Cyfansoddwr shortlist

Sarah is one of three Welsh composers shortlisted for the prestigious Medal y Cyfansoddwr, a prestigious flagship music composition prize awarded annually at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. She is writing a new work for String Trio, voices and electronics, which will be developed in collaboration with musicians from Sinfonia Cymru, and premiered at the National Eisteddfod of Wales in Wrexham, in August 2025.
